Josh Oswald

Josh Oswald joined HJR Financial Group as a LPL Financial Advisor in 2016 after spending 15 years with Northwestern Mutual; he became an HJR partner in 2019.  He is a Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) and holds Series 6, 7, 63, and 66 registrations with LPL Financial.  Josh enjoys working with individuals and families, delivering financial plans and variety of investment strategies.

Josh is the past-president of the Eastern Iowa Chapter of the Society of Financial Service Professionals (SFSP) and the past-president of the Iowa City Area National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA).  He is also an active volunteer and council member of his church.

A life-long Iowan, Josh moved to Johnson County in 1998  while attending college at the University of Iowa, graduating in 2002 with a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Finance.  He enjoys hunting, fishing, and University of Iowa football and basketball.  Josh lives in Tiffin with his wife, Jayne, and sons, Isaac and Micah.
